An anonymous leaker known for reliable information recently disclosed build numbers for the fourth developer betas of iOS 26 and several other Apple operating systems. This account on X has a history of accurately revealing Apple’s software updates, though we refrain from sharing the account details as per the owner’s request. The leaked build numbers are as follows:
– iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 beta 4 (23A5297i)
– macOS 26 beta 4 (25A5316i)
– tvOS 26 and HomePod Software 26 beta 4 (23J5316g)
– watchOS 26 beta 4 (23R5317g)
– visionOS 26 beta 4 (23M5300g)
According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, a public beta release is expected around Wednesday, July 23.
However, it should be noted that no public beta will be available for visionOS 26 as stated on Apple’s beta website. In an unrelated incident, Apple inadvertently allowed some users to access the macOS 26 public beta briefly earlier today. Notably, the build number matched that of the fourth developer beta of macOS 26, indicating that the upcoming public betas will likely coincide with the fourth developer versions.
Though Apple previously announced that public betas would be available in July, specific dates have not been provided. Additionally, plans for a public beta of a significant AirPods firmware update have also emerged. Anyone interested in participating in the Apple Beta Software Program can sign up for free, gaining access to public betas as they become available.
As always, it is advisable for users to back up their devices prior to installing any beta software to prevent potential issues.
