As of now, I’ve come to the conclusion that the Apple Watch app lacks the option to switch between a dark theme and a light theme. It’s possible that I’m simply overlooking something in the settings, but I can’t seem to find any feature that allows for this customization. This has become a point of frustration for me.
I enjoy personalizing my devices according to my preferences, and a theme change could greatly enhance the user experience on the Apple Watch. Dark themes are not only easier on the eyes in low-light conditions, but they also conserve battery life on OLED displays, which makes this lack of support even more puzzling. I hope that future updates for the Apple Watch app will include this feature.
