Apple News+ Audio Launches in the UK, Canada, and Australia

Apple News+ Audio is now available in the UK, Canada, and Australia. This expansion, which began today, marks a significant step for Apple since the feature was initially introduced to U.S. subscribers in 2020.

Apple News+ Audio offers professionally narrated versions of top stories, enhancing the reading experience for subscribers. The audio stories can be accessed through the Apple News+ app or the Podcasts app.

Users can enjoy an assortment of popular narratives from well-known publications such as *The New Yorker*, *Bloomberg*, *The Atlantic*, and *Rolling Stone*, among others. For those who do not subscribe to Apple News+, previews are available, along with a free “News Today” audio option accessible to all Apple News users.

The platform’s audio offerings are robust and diverse, with categories spanning News and Politics, Business, Sports, Arts and Entertainment, and True Crime. In the newly added regions, listeners will also have access to audio stories from local publications as well as those from the U.S., providing a wider range of content tailored to different audiences.

Apple News+ is available for a monthly subscription fee of $12.99 USD, granting users access to various subscription publications, including *The Wall Street Journal*, *The Washington Post*, *Los Angeles Times*, and *The Atlantic*, in addition to numerous magazines and regional newspapers.
