I am facing an issue with my USB A Flash Drive, which contains movie files that I want to play on my TV running Google TV OS. When I connect the drive directly to the TV, it displays “no data.” To troubleshoot, I attempted to use a USB-C hub with my M1 MacBook Air and formatted the drive to APFS.
After uploading the movies again, the TV still did not recognize the drive. In another effort, I reformatted the USB drive to exFAT using my Mac, but unfortunately, the TV continues to show no files. I am unsure what other steps I can take to resolve this situation.
To provide some context, I am using the latest MacOS Sequoia on my M1 MacBook Air. If anyone has suggestions or solutions to help me get my TV to recognize the USB drive, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Thank you!
