The public beta release of iOS 26 is on the horizon, while developers are currently exploring the third beta iteration. Apple has been diligently refining various features, designs, and functionalities in this update. In addition to the upcoming iOS release, anticipation is building for the iPhone 17 lineup, set to be unveiled in just a couple of months. As with previous iterations, the Pro and Pro Max models will feature differences in display size and battery life.
However, this year, it appears the Pro Max may have a slightly thicker build. Typically, the Pro models utilize premium materials like stainless steel or titanium, but recent reports suggest a return to an aluminum chassis. This change will align them more closely with the non-Pro models. Furthermore, rumors indicate that the Apple logo will be repositioned on the Pro models’ rear casings, accommodating larger camera bumps.
Recent renders from leaker Majin Bu offer a glimpse into these design alterations. Regarding iOS 26, Apple is continuing to enhance the beta version. The third developer beta has introduced minor changes compared to the second beta, with additional modifications to the Liquid Glass design. Controversy continues over these alterations, as some users appreciate greater readability, while others long for the original Liquid Glass appearance.
The Home Screen is also undergoing significant changes, allowing for a more consistent thematic experience through customizable wallpaper options and new icon enhancements. Lastly, Apple’s latest film, “F1: The Movie,” is performing exceptionally well, generating over $293 million globally within just ten days of release. The success of this film has led Apple to consider bids for streaming rights to Formula 1 racing in the U.S., further expanding their entertainment portfolio.
