Apple has released the third beta of the upcoming macOS Sequoia 15.6 update for developers. This new beta comes just a week after the second beta was made available. Developers interested in trying out the macOS Sequoia beta can access it through the Software Update section in the System Settings app.
However, it is essential to have an Apple ID linked to an Apple Developer account to participate. Currently, details regarding new features or changes in macOS Sequoia 15.6 remain scarce. There have been no notable findings in the initial two beta versions.
As Apple progresses with the development of macOS Sequoia, the focus is beginning to shift toward macOS Tahoe, the next major release planned for the fall. In related news, several Apple products are expected to see updates later this year. A new Apple TV is rumored to feature an integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip.
This enhancement aims to improve connectivity and overall performance. Meanwhile, the much-anticipated Apple Watch Ultra 3 is also reportedly on the horizon. Key features for the device include satellite connectivity for messaging without Wi-Fi or cellular, as well as 5G support, upgrading from LTE seen in its predecessor.
Looking ahead, Apple is gearing up for the launch of the iPhone 17 series, with significant design changes anticipated for the iPhone 17 Pro models. A redesigned rear casing and camera area are among the updates expected. However, substantial alterations to the lineup may wait until the iPhone 18 models next year.
Lastly, Apple has announced that its store at the Westfield Hornsby shopping mall in Australia will permanently close in October, after choosing not to renew its lease. Affected employees will have the opportunity to transition to nearby locations.
