Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are on the horizon, with less than two months until their expected release. As anticipation builds, several rumors have emerged outlining notable changes to these devices.
One of the most significant updates is the shift to an aluminum frame for the iPhone 17 Pro models, a departure from the titanium frame found in the iPhone 15 Pro and 16 Pro models and the stainless steel frame used in earlier models. The new design is expected to feature a part-aluminum, part-glass back.
Additionally, there are rumors of an anti-reflective display option with a matte finish, similar to the nano-texture glass used in some of Apple’s other products. The Dynamic Island interface is also set to see a redesign, potentially making it smaller.
In terms of design, the iPhone 17 Pro models are anticipated to feature a large rectangular camera bump with rounded corners and will maintain a triangular arrangement for the rear camera lenses. A new copper-like finish is expected to accompany the classic Dark Blue option.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max might come with a thicker design to support a larger battery, improving its overall battery life, possibly exceeding the 5,000 mAh mark. Under the hood, it will likely be powered by the new A19 Pro chip and come with an upgraded 12GB of RAM, enhancing performance and multitasking capabilities.
The camera system is poised for upgrades as well, with a 24-megapixel front camera and a new 48-megapixel telephoto camera. The ability to record video with both front and rear cameras simultaneously and support for 8K video recording are additional perks that could elevate the photography experience.
Lastly, improvements in heat dissipation and the potential repositioning of the Apple logo complete the anticipated changes, indicating that the iPhone 17 series may offer significant enhancements over its predecessors.
